Big Grin 11 Quick (and Good) Content Some ideas for The Ezine or Website
Publishing articles, particularly via an e-zine, may be the perfect chance to showcase your organization. By sharing your knowledge and expertise, you build credibility as an expert, while spreading the word about your products and services. While I am sure that sometimes you've lots of content a few ideas, I guess other times you end up looking at a blank monitor, moaning that it's writing time again. Well, have no fear! Here are 11 quick (and good) content ideas for once you are in-a pinch.

1. Provide real-life success stories.

Describe an issue you have fixed for a client/customer, and use that as a springboard to provide more general guidance. Show your readers how you've helped clients address challenges -- 'case studies' if you'll. This positions you as the specialist in your readers' heads greater than your developing and saying therefore.

2. Think of three places where you had like your clients to think of you as a source.

Today create content in those areas. For example, in my past life as a professional copywriter, I truly enjoyed writing for Web sites. I published a few articles on the best way to write Web copy that sells, to help encourage my clients and prospects to hire me for these tasks.

3. Study industry publications for a few ideas.

What are the hot issues in your area right-now? The more controversial, the higher. Don't forget to offer your own opinion -- your readers need to know it. After-all, YOU'RE the expert in their eyes.

4. Write down 8 questions your customers have asked you-in days gone by.

You know, those they ask you over and over. Answer each in a short report. If you release weekly, that is two months' worth of content, right off the bat! And when you can not consider any concerns, send all of your present clients/customers a quick e-mail, asking them what issues they are most interested in learning more about.

5. Learn something neat recently from an industry meeting, course, course, or informative report?

No one says you've to reinvent the wheel of data! Spread any gems of advice you have learned elsewhere -- only give them full attribution. Or give your opinion of the event or article itself. Your readers will appreciate your frankness.

6. Provide a listing of your top 5 or 10 tips on a particular subject.

It's much simpler to bang out a listing of methods than to construct a genuine article. Obviously, the recommendations could change in to a write-up should you desire! Be sure to list your very best idea first, or at-least close to the top. (If you 'fire your largest gun' last, you risk losing your audience before they arrive at the great stuff.)

7. Interview contacts whose knowledge would interest your readers

(without competing with yours). E-mail interviews are very simple to do. Just send your interviewee less than six questions via email, modify their responses, and have them accept the ultimate version. Be sure to give a small plug to them in your e-zine as a thanks. (An one- or two-sentence description of their business and their Web address must be fine.)

8. Propose books and resources that you utilize, and provide complete reviews on them.In one issue of my old

E-zine newsletters, 'AKB MarCom Tips,' I presented reviews of my personal favorite four copywriting resource books. I am glad because I finished up making some great commission, on top of that, I also gave my Amazon.com associate links!

9. Request clients or readers to write you using their own questions, and answer one in each issue.

Immediately after their issue, publish the individual's name, business, and Website, making use of their approval. They'll enjoy the attention and free advertising!
